Eyewitness Kids recount horror of Rajouri’s IED blast & terror attack

Rajouri, 03 January, 2023: The eye-witness kids in the ghastly attack in Rajouri on Tuesday shared their traumatic experiences with media, on how the terrorists executed the attack on three houses killing four people and injuring many.
Sejal Sharma, an witness of IED blast incident lying on Hospital’s bed said, ” We were sitting in our verandah when blast took place beneath us”.
“The explosion took place in turns. I ran iniside our house, my cousin brother & sister were outside.
“The blast was such that it bounced my sister in air who was standing behind me and thrown her towards me. When the security personnel and media approached our house another explosion took place that time”, she said.
She added that it was her sister & cousin brother who died in IED blast at Dangri in Rajouri.
“Our uncle lifted us and took us inside house premises.Our parents told us to stay on the first floor after firing incident, but we came down stairs. My sister (14) was studying in 7th class.
“My leg has sustained gashes and my brother is lying on that bed. They can’t return my sister, if govt would have taken action on-time this would not had happened. I wish perpetrators to be gunned down”, she further said.
Vanshu, another kid eye-witness of IED blast said that he was in his uncle’s house when explosion erupted. Adding he said, “The police was inquring us about yesterday’s firing incident when we heard bomb blast”.
“The terrorists barged into my uncle’s house, it was dark we were not able to see what was going on. We want revenge from the terrorists who killed our brother & sister”, he said.
Another female eye-witness lying on hospital’s bed narrated that at 7pm when there was low visibility at dusk, the armed assailants came in their residence at Dangri and sprayed bullets at them.
“They have uprooted our house by murdering our kids”, she told media while sobbing.
