Locals express concern over damaged road in Jammu

Jammu, Jan 01, 2023: Potholes, uncovered drains and un-repaired road at Rahim Nagar chowk in Bhatindi area of Jammu has become a nightmare for the locals, commuters as well as for pedestrians who uses the road stretch for their everyday use, there.
As per the report, some locals at Rahim Nagar chowk showed their concern for the damaged road and its prevailing condition could result in some disastrous accidents, someday.

Mr Naim Ahmed, a local resident, said, “This is indeed shocking! While so many people visited here to witness its condition but still nobody has bothered to repair it. During the incessant rains, this road gets waterlogged and it becomes tough for the school kids, pedestrians and vehicles to cross the road”.
The ward corporator should take cognizance of this damaged road and should come forward to repair it, the report said.
