Woman Bitten By Neighbour’s Pet Dog in Jammu
Jammu, January 01, 2023: A married woman suffered injuries on her neck and hand as a Pitbull attacked her in Powal village of Arnia area in Jammu, yesterday.
As per the report, the victim namely Sonia Devi was in her locality in Powal village when the dog, owned by one of her neighbours, came running out of the house and bit her – on her hands and neck.
After the inicident the victim’s family rushed towards the spot of incident and resuced her and rushed her to a ‘Primary Health Center’ (PHC), Arnia and on reaching there when doctor examined Sonia’s critical condition, they referred her further to Bishnah hospital for the treatment.
Mr Parshottam, the victim’s husband said that his neighbour’s dog usually bites people in their vicinity and he has decided to register an FIR against him so that the dog owner could learn to tie his dog to prevent such incidents in future.
