Jammu, December 26, 2022: A long pending demand of Jammuties and especially from Sikh Communities in regards with installation of Statute of Baba Banda Singh ji Bhadur a great Sikh warrior at Bhagwati Nagar Chowk near fourth Tawi Bridge in Jammu will soon be fulfilled.
As per the report, the Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today went to Gurdwara Digiana Ashram, Jammu and observing ‘Veer Baal Diwas’ there announced that the statue of Baba Banda Singh ji Bhadur will soon be installed at Bhagwati Nagar Chowk and not in Kunjwani, where it was earlier proposed.

He also said that the LG administration will soon arrive on some decision about inclusion of Punjabi language in the official list of languages of the J&K Union Territory (UT).
Earlier, the statue of great Sikh warrior was decided to be installed at Kunjwani Chowk, Jammu.
