The Sinhagad highway police of Maharashtra yesterday arrested a youth and detained a minor for allegedly attempting to open hearth at a candy store proprietor for refusing to offer them free ’kaju katli.’
The accused has been recognized as Suraj Brahmdev Munde (23), a resident of Manikbaug.
The incident passed off on Monday, December 19, when the sufferer recognized as Jodharam Chaudhari was current at his candy store situated close to Goyal Ganga Chowk on Sinhagad highway. Each the accused entered the store and requested totally free 1kg of ‘kaju katali.’ When Chaudhari refused, the accused threatened to kill him.

Jayant Rajurkar, police inspector (Crime) at Sinhagad highway police station, mentioned, “The incident passed off on Monday and the sufferer registered a case on Tuesday. We have now arrested the accused inside eight hours.”
As per the grievance filed by Chaudhari, a case has been registered beneath Sections 307, 387, 34 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and different related sections of the Arms Act.
Police are investigating from the place and why the accused bought the firearm.
