“Today, some NSS volunteers of GDC Nagrota came to us and with our collaboration they aware the local residents on the road about road safety. The students were themselves halting defaulters just as we ‘cops’ do and were ensuring that they follow traffic rules to avoid mishaps. They got to learn how traffic police manages traffic and handles violators who misbehaves with us sometimes. They were excited to work with us and I hope they disseminate what they learned in this drive with their family, friends and neighbours”, a traffic police personnel said.
