Jammu, Dec 11: A bizzare case has appeared in which a man from Basholi area of Kathua, Jammu has alleged that his mother was misdiagnosed of having stones in her gallbladder by a doctor at ‘Sub District Hospital Basohli’ in Kathua , when his mother went there for a medical check-up, yesterday.
Speaking to the media the man allegedly said that his mother called him yesterday and told him that she has been diagnosed of bladder stones, which could be prove fatal if not treated on time.

On reaching there, a doctor told them to do carry out an Ultrasound test and when the doctor examined the report, he said that the man’s mother have stones in her gallbladder and her situation is getting worse, which could burst her gallbladder anytime.
“My mother started crying when she heard that she has stones in her bladder and it can burst because of them anytime. The doctor asked me to take my mother to ‘District Hospital Kathua’ and when the doctor there carried out another ultrasound test, they didn’t find any stone in her bladder”, he said.
He further said that they are not financially sound and felt shocked, when the doctor told them about the disease in Basholi hospital. Adding he said, “We are daily wagers and earn our daily beard by doing labour. Now, who will take responsibility if my mother might have died because of sudden shock as she is an aged woman”.
