Jammu, December 4, 2022: In a bizarre theft, a miscreant lifted a standard black bullet bike bearing registration ‘JK02CK3150’ from Gujjar Nagar area of Jammu and left his two-wheeler on the same spot yesterday’s night.
The victim, Aman Malik, was baffled when he saw that his motorcycle was missing, and a bike was parked on its spot.

“Around 8pm last night I parked my vehicle in front Gujjar Nagar police station as I had to attend a function nearby. I returned late from the function so I didn’t went back to take my bike. But, when I went to take it in the morning, the bullet bike was missing and in its place a a pulsar was parked. We checked CCTV footage in which we saw a thief who stole my bike and left his on the spot. This is the first time such a thing has happened with me. We have registered an FIR at Gujjar Nagar police station”, he said.
Mr Ayoub a local resident said that he has suspicion on the bike which the burglar has left as it bears no number plate on it.
“The thief is driving the bike without number plate, this raises question on the security measures of local police as what they are doing regarding it. We appeal to SSP sir to take notice of the theft cases and the police should regularly patrol this area”, he added.
