Jammu, Nov 30: The CBI is conducting raids at 13 locations in Jammu and Samba districts including a JKAS officer’s residence in connection with paper leakage of Financial Accounts Assistants.
Earlier, Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) conducted searches at seven locations including Jammu, Pathankot in Punjab, Rewari and Karnal (both in Haryana) in connection with the Sub Inspector (SI) recruitment scam in Jammu and Kashmir.
The probe agency had registered the case on August 8 at the request of the Jammu and Kashmir government to investigate the alleged irregularities in the written exam conducted by the J&K Services Selection Board (JKSSB). The exam to recruit 1,200 sub inspectors for the state police was conducted on March 27, 2022 and its result was declared on June 4.
