Jammu, November 29, 2022: The latest theft incident took place in Sainik Colony area near J&K bank in Jammu, where miscreants stole a motorcycle and left their own two-wheeler parked on the same spot.
The victim, Ramesh Kumar, said he was shocked when he saw that his vehicle bearing registration number JK02AU1608 was missing, and a bike was parked on its spot.

“I parked my motor-cycle around 4-4:30pm in front of J&K bank in Sainik Colony as I had to drop my kid to school in the evening in Vijaypur (Samba) and when I came back at 9pm, my bike was missing and in its place another motor-cycle was parked there. A day before yesterday I went to Sainik colony police station to register an FIR , but the policemen there refused to register my complaint as their officer wasn’t present in police station that time”, he allegedly said.
He further said that yesterday he again went to the police station to register an FIR, but he was again informed by the police personnel that their higher official was not present.
The act of the thieves has been captured on CCTV cameras installed there.
