Jammu, November 27, 2022: The members of flying squad (JMC) impounded merchandise & carts of some vendors, who were found “encroaching roads” in Jammu and selling their goods by coming forward on the road. In a bid to ease the traffic movement and ensure hassle-free commutation the JMC conducted this drive on Sunday.
The drive was organized on B.C road at Jewel in Jammu by the ‘Jammu Municipal Corporation’, today.

A local vendor said that the Jammu Municipal Corporation out of no-where appear and seize their carts, snatching their livelihood.
He asked that what will a poor person would do if their employment gets ransacked by someone.
“I want to ask why the employees of JMC are only taking action against few cart vendors, why the law is not equal for all. We are paying rupees 7500 annually to JMC and they are still harassing us”, another vendor said.
