Kashmir, November 26, 2022: Family members of woman staged an agitation on Saturday at Press Club in Srinagar, who was allegedly killed by her in laws in Palpora area of Srinagar on November 20th.
Earlier, the relatives of the deceased told a news agency that the lady identified as Maimoona who was from Kanipora and married in Palpora Srinagar has been killed by in laws. They alleged that she was killed by brother in law’s son with axe.

Speaking to the media, the victim’s brother said that his sister’s murderer was arrested by the police, but they demand detention of others also, who were involved in this crime.
“My sister’s mother-in-law was also in the house when this felony took place, but why she is roaming free without any charges. We demand police to detain her along with all those who indulged in this case. Her husband was at work when the incident took place and police has informed us that he has no hand in my sister’s murder.
The deceased was married two years ago and was mother of a little girl.
