Jammu, November 19: A woman passenger on Saturday in Jammu helped Bari Brahmana Police nab two burglars said to be involved in theft of a commuter’s purse, when the victim was travelling in a bus heading towards Punjab from Jammu.
As per the report, the theft occurred in the moving bus at Bari Brahmana in Jammu, in which the thieves were travelling and after stealing the man’s purse the burglars got off from it on the pretext that they boarded the wrong bus.
A police inspector said that a woman passenger informed him that the two thieves stole the victim’s purse and got off from the bus and ran away. Adding he said, “After getting this information we detained these two thieves who stole the man’s purse”.
