Jammu, November 19: A shocking incident has appeared in which a woman’s purse in which she was carrying Rupees 15000-20000 got stolen from a hospital in Jammu, where she admitted her ailing son.

Accoring to the report, the theft took place on 9th of November,  when the woman fell asleep in the hospital’s room.

Mrs Bhavana Sharma, the victim, told the media that her son had some complications in abdomen for which she admitted him to Jk Meidcity Hospital  at Narwal in Jammu.

“I admitted my son to hospital because he was ill and for that we took a room there on rent. I stayed awoke all night and was feeling sleepy so I went to sleep in my room, after some time a boy came and took my purse and went down stairs. He kept the purse on hospitals reception and stole around rupees 20,000 approximately from it, she added.

She further said after sometime from hospital’s reception someone called her and informed that her purse is laying there.

“I asked them how my purse came here and told them to review their security measures. Then I called hospital’s ‘Managing Director’ (MD) who assured me help and told me to register an FIR at police station”, she said.

Moreover, she said that she asked the hospital staff to provide details of the woman worker, who frequently used to visit  her room and  on whom the victim has alleged that she has suspicion.

“The police has not done anything regarding my matter and the hospital staff has not yet revealed the details of that woman, I think they are also invovled that’s why they are not revealing anything to me”, she said.
