Continuing with the endeavors to nurture young minds to innovate, an inauguration ceremony of Atal Tinkering Lab was organized in Spring Dales English School, Changran, Kathua on 17th November 2022, Thursday. The chief guest of this inauguration was Chief Education Officer, Sh. Prakash Lal Thapa. The ceremony was started with the holy ritual of kindling the lamp of knowledge by the chief guest along with special guest of honor Nodal officer, ATL, J&K,Dr. Jagdish Raj Panotra ,Sh. Manohar Lal Gupta, ZEO Kathua, Sh. Romesh Kumar, Sarpanch, Changran, Sh. Rohit sharma, Naib Sarpanch, Changran, Sh. Mohinder Nath Sharma, Retd. AC,Sh Sanjeev Vaid, Principal, Boys Higher Secondary school Kathua, Sh. Gandharv Singh Katal, Chairman, Nav Adarsh Higher Secondary School, Sh. Satpaul Mansotra Chairman, Kids Heaven, higher secondary school, Sh. Mahipal Sharma, Chairman, Minerva public school, Kathua, Sh. Vikas Manpotra, Senior Lecturer, Boys Higher Secondary school, Kathua.
After the Welcome Song, an amazing presentation prepared by the students was shown as a welcome note showcasing the journey and achievement of Spring Dales leading to the selection of the school for Atal Tinkering Lab. Another Presentation was showcased by ATL in charge to enlighten about the ATL lab Director, Prof. R.K. Gupta extended his heartiest thanks for Niti Ayog of Government of India for selecting Spring Dales English School,Kathua, a center for installing Atal Tinkering Lab. He was proud that the Atal Tinkering Lab will certainly enable the students to sharpen and showcase their Creative Skills in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Skilled India is the need of the hour and each step taken this dream should be welcomed and we should work towards it together for a better India .He urged students to make best use of this lab and wished all the success for their future endeavors,”
The chief guest Sh. Prakash Lal Thapa inaugurated the Atal Tinkering Lab by cutting the ribbon. He also interacted with the young innovators of Spring Dales English School who impressed the chief guest by exhibiting various innovative projects like The Smart Dustbin, Divyang Chakshu , Mechanical lift, Handpicked Cooler, DC Motor Model, Automatic Door Alarm etc. Chief Education Officer, Sh. Prakash Lal Thapa along with other Guest of Honour expressed their innermost feeling of happiness on being a part of this inaugural ceremony.
