“Instead of providing us a college here the administration gave them assent to open liqour shop. Our grave concern is that this shop is stopping us from earning our livelihood. Men purchase liquor here and drink in open when the shop opens till late night and create nuisance for passers-by. Some get so drunk that they pass comments on us and school students are also consuming this”, she said.
She further said that after 4pm in the evening she has to close her shop cause after that the drunkards come there to buy liquor and eve tease them.
“Our only source of income is suffering because of this. The wine shop has become a trouble for all of us and we demand its closure from the govt. Earlier, DC mam came and she gave excuses to us that she can’t do anything regarding our matter”, she added.
