A 22-year-old youth was killed after being hit by a moving train in central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Tuesday, officials said.
The deceased, identified as Mohammad Yaqoub Dar a resident of Shahgund Bandipora in north Kashmir, was hit by a running train at 81.3 kmph near the Budgam railway station this morning, a railway official said.
The body has been removed and taken for necessary medico legal formalities before being handed over to its relatives for last rites, he said.
