The Bomb disposal squad in Jammu averted a possible explosion after defusing 2 IEDs in Jammu and Kashmir, yesterday. The IEDs were recovered with timers inside a suspicious backpack near a police post under late evening Satwari police station.
Earlier, Mr Chandan Kohli SSP Jammu informed the media that a patrolling party of police post Phallian Mandal of Satwari in Jammu late evening found a black coloured backpack lying in a suspicious manner adjacent to the post.
“The area has been cordoned and technical team has been called in for examination of the suspicious bag,” he said.
