Police have arrested a driver of load carrier with 100-kg poppy straw in Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Police said acting on specific inputs, special check point was raised on Ring Road in Vijaypur area of the district.

“One SUV load carrier was intercepted and during checking about 100-Kg of Bhukki was recovered from the hidden cabin inside the vehicle,” said police.
They added that one person identified as Shahwaz, resident of Khawas, Buddhal, district Rajouri was arrested on the spot.
A case under relevant sections was registered and investigation started, police said.
