A mother-daughter duo was among three persons killed while 15 passengers were injured seven of them seriously in a tragic road accident near Nanke Chak Samba on Jammu- Pathankot National Highway evening.(yesterday)

The accident took place when a superfast bus of Jammu-Kathua route on way to Kathua hit the Uttar Pradesh Transport Corporation (UPTC) bus from rear side which was on way from Jammu to Haridwar in which three people including mother and daughter duo were killed while 15 others injured.

The accident took place when the UPTC bus which was on way from Jammu to Haridwar reached near Nanke Chak in Samba district and the driver slowed down the speed of the vehicle, it was hit by a superfast bus coming from behind at a high speed.

The impact of the accident was so high that there was a deafening sound as the Superfast Bus rammed into UPTC bus and the passengers were lying in the pool of blood. The 50 percent of the bus was totally damaged in the accident.
