Jammu: Shiv Sena Jammu and Kashmir unit has put the bureaucracy in the dock over the neglectful attitude being adopted by the administration towards public issues, accusing them of adopting arbitrary and anti-people policies.
Shivsena activists led by its President Manish Sahni today assembled in front of Relief Commissioner office in Jammu, justifying the demand for shifting the employees working in Kashmir to safer places under the PM package.
Sahni said the situation in the Valley was not favorable at all. As per the latest reports, quoting intelligence agencies, there have been reports that terrorist organizations are trying to target the minorities living in the valley. In such a situation, the government should not try to make these employees as scapegoats, he added.
Sahni said that the bureaucracy is in its full color as democracy has not been restored in Jammu and Kashmir for the last three years. Public issues are constantly being ignored which shows that how much sympathy and concern the bureaucracy has with the local people, he added.
Sahni said that Kashmiri Hindus and reserved category employees of Jammu origin have been on dharna for the last several months, but the administration is turning a blind eye to their legitimate demands.
Sahni appealed to the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Honorable Manoj Sinha, to give relief to extend all possible support to these employees till the situation in Kashmir becomes normal.
