A man allegedly committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at his residence in Takwal area here.
As per police sources, a man identified as Ajay Singh (35), son of Baldev Singh allegedly consumed some poisonous substance at his residence in Takwal area.
He was rushed to PHC Pargwal and later referred to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where doctors pronounced him as brought dead.
The body of the deceased has been shifted to mortuary of GMCH Jammu for autopsy.
Pargwal Police has taken cognizance in this regard.
