Jammu, October 22,2022: The Food and Civil supplies Department of Jammu on Saturday inspected some sweet shops in Janipur area of Jammu, ahead of Diwali.
The department officials in their inspection collected and tasted some samples of different types of sweets from the shops where they paid their visit.

As per the report, the department came into action to check adulteration of sweets which can put people’s heatlh on stake cause it has often been reported that during the festival of Diwali due to the high demand of sweets many shops use to adulter sweets to meet the demands of customers and earn more , so continuous inspection & sampling was carried out by Food Safety department officials, today in Jammu.
