A notorious criminal cum drug peddler was booked under Public Safety Act (PSA) by Police Station Miran Sahib.
“Miran Sahib Police was looking for the accused namely Paramjeet Singh alias Sunny son of Labh Singh, resident of Simbal camp,” a police spokesman said. He said finally local intelligence was generated and on a tip off, dedicated police teams of Police Station Miran Sahib constituted under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Surinder Singh and led by SHO Miran Sahib Inspector Zaheer Mushtaq arrested the accused.
He said the accused was a notorious criminal and was involved in a number of heinous cases like attempt to murder, NDPS Act, Arms Act, snatching case etc. “In this regard, Public Safety Act was issued against the accused and finally warrant of arrest was executed and the accused got shifted to Central Jail Kot Bhalwal,” the spokesman added.
