Jammu, October 17, 2022: Hundreds of PHE daily wagers on Monday barricaded the PHE department office at jewel chowk in Jammu in support of their long pending demand of regularization as permanent employees in the department.
The anguished protestors in hundred of numbers today held a strike in the department shouting slogans against the local regime.

One of the vexed protestors allegedly told the media person that he extend his gratitude to media fraternity who came there to report their protest. He further said that they have carried so many agitations against the local government but they remained unmoved.
“We will destroy this government as it has destroyed our lives, we will not move from here even if they shower bullet on us cause our situation has become worse and it is now or never situation where we have reached. We will not move from here without being regularized”, he added.
Another protestor said that the govt has used water cannons against the daily wagers to kill them.
“Our resentment is touching new heights every day and the local govt is testing our patience and they are not doing anything for us as they are only busy in opening liquor stores here in Jammu”, one of the agitators said.
A protestor said that the department have opened water pipes to disrupt their protest but they are not going to move from the protest site even if someone immolates them.
