Jammu, October 12, 2022: The Govt. College for Women Bhagwati Nagar on Wednesday organised a “Collage making competition” on the topic ‘Journey of Mahatma Gandh’i under the banner of ‘Shikshit Bharat Campaign’ Day under the patronage of Principal of the college, Dr. Meeru Abrol.
As per the report, Dr. Meeru Abrol Principal of the college on the occasion advised and encouraged the students to follow the values of truth and non-violence in their respective lives and become the responsible citizens of the nation.
The students of the college participated wholeheartedly in the event and imparted knowledge about the successful journey of Mahatma Gandhi through their visually attractive and informative collages.
The collages highlighted the important accomplishments of the father of the nation and about 26 students participated in the event with zeal and fervour, the report said.
While, the event was adjudged by Prof. Nisha Bhagat and Prof Parwinder Kour , Prof Sukriti Shashoo, Diya Bhat and Vanshika Arora of B. Com Sem I were declared as first, second and third winners respectively.
The event was organized by the Department of Commerce under the supervision of Prof. Gagan Jyoti and Mr Rahul Gupta.
