Jammu, October 12, 2022: An unfortunate incident has appeared in which a speedy car hit a labourer at Vikram chowk in Jammu, today.
According to the report, the incident happened when a speedy swift car hit a labourer on Vikram chowk when he was crossing the road, while it has been reported that the vehicle drove away from the scene of the incident after hitting the man.

Mr Mohammad Nadeem the victim told the media that he was crossing the road when a speedy car came and hit him and left him with a fractured leg and wounded arm.
An onlooker who rushed to help the victim on site of accident said that the speedy car came and hit the victim. He further said that he ran after the vehicle to stop the driver but he didn’t listened to him and drove away hastily.
“I have clicked the pictures of vehicle, it was a swift car and he was driving very fast. The traffic police were standing on the other side of the road like by-standers they didn’t stopped that vehicle”, he added.
Another local resident said that the traffic police is just here to issue the challans to people and they failed to stop the vehicle who hit the man.
“The traffic show good alertness against the traffic violators, but why didn’t they stop that man and I think they are waiting for a tragedy here”, he asked.
Some minutes later a traffic police inspector came at the scene of accident and taking cognizance of the matter informed the media that they have nabbed the accused who hit the man.
“Our traffic control room has informed us that the accused has been stopped by the SHO in jewel”, a traffic police inspector said.
