A man stabbed his wife and daughter to death in Khandauli area of Agra district Uttar Pradesh, police said on Monday.
Man Mohan Singh’s wife Mamata and daughter Saumya (1) were found dead by neighbours while the man himself was missing and said by the police to be on the run.
“Efforts are being made to arrest him,” a police officer said.
Mohan works as a transport in Agra. His wife is Mamta, 3 -year -old son Aarav and a quarter -year -old daughter Soumya. It is reported that Manmohan came home on Sunday night. He ate food with the family. After this, people also saw him walking out at 11 o’clock.
After this, there was a dispute about someone in the husband and wife late at night. After this, Manmohan killed wife Mamta and daughter Soumya with a knife and escaped. Arrived at home. He saw that in a room Mamta and Soumya were covered with blood on the ground. Son Aarav was sleeping in the second room.
Police reached the spot on information. There was a crowd of villagers. Everyone in the village is stunned by the Dohare murder case. Police have sent the bodies for postmortem. The search for the accused is being raided.
