Union Home Minister on Monday evening arrived here on three-day visit to the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
During his visit, Shah will address public rallies in Rajouri on Tuesday in Jammu region and in Baramulla on Wednesday in Kashmir Division.
Shah as per official sources is likely to launch various projects for Jammu Division worth thousand crores like cooperatives, digital tagline, online services under IT, roads, a hospital and water supply schemes under Jal Mission.
Sources said that the Home Minister will also review the security situation at a high level meeting to be attended by J&K Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, top brass from the administration, army, police, paramilitary and intelligence officials.
On Tuesday, he will pay obeisance at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Cave Shrine.
However, tight security has been put in place in Jammu for the VVIP visit and patrolling has been intensified in the bordering belts.
