Jammu, October 3, 2022: The Police on Monday arrested a drug peddler and recovered 40 grams heroin from his possession.
As per police sources, on specific information a team constituted under the supervision of SDPO Sharad Kalu and led by SHO Rakesh Sharma assisted Chowk Chabutra PSI Jyoti choudhary while on patrolling duty arrested a drug peddler namely Chetan Sharma S/o Shiv Darshan Sharma resident of Rehari, jammu.
During the search the police recovered 40 grms heroine(Chita)from his possession.
In this regard case FIR No. 118/2022 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act got registered at police station Pacca Danga and accused got arrested.
The whole operation was done under the supervision of SP Kulbir Handa.
Further investigation of the case is still going on.
