An unusual event has appeared in which traffic police waived off hefty fine of a patient on BC road in Jammu.
As per the report, the traffic police as usual was pasting challan receipts on parked vehicles in Bus stand for non-parking, they also fined Rs 5000 to an eco van there for the same, but they cancelled the fine on knowing that it belonged to a patient who has come in the hospital for the check-up.

Mr Shamsher Singh SI traffic police told the media that when they came to know about that a patient has parked this vehicle here who came to treat her fractured arm, we then called our senior officer and informed him about the case. He further added that after sending the medical history of the violator to his senior officer the challan which was waived off by him.
“It is a big thing for us as I have never seen traffic police cancelling challans after issuing to the people, I pray for their good health. We need such honest officers in Jammu”, the violator woman patient said.
The lady’s fellow passenger said that he has been driving from a long time and this is the first time he is seeing traffic police is not collecting the challan fee.
