Jammu, Sept 29, 22: In continuous efforts towards making society drug free at gross root level the Arnia police officials organised a program on ‘Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan’ at police station Arnia on yesterday.
The program was attended by several youngsters of different Panchayats of Arnia, while the Program was organised under the leadership of SHO Sumeet Sharma assisted by SI Mohd ilyas on the directions of SSP Jammu Chandan Kohli , Ramnish Gupta and SDPO R.S.Pura Surinder Singh.
During the program local youth has been sensitised about various aspects of drug abuse and their adverse effects on health, family and society. They were also motivated to divert their energy by participating in sports activities, for Jk Police organised various sports activities to engage the youth towards sports.
On the occasion five volleyball kit also distributed among the five volleyball teams of different Panchayats by the police.
The local youth appreciated the efforts of the police to hold such program to sensitised the youth.All the Incharge BPP were also present during the event.
