Jammu, 27 Sept, 22: Several Members of All Jammu Based Reserved Category Employees Association (AJBRCEA) Kashmir, held protest demonstration on Tuesday for their grievances.
The members allegedly said that they began their protest on the first of June this year, when one of their colleague Rajni Bala was killed in target killing by terrorists, who was serving in Kulgam district as a teacher.
Raising slogans like ‘we want transfer to Jammu’ , We are one and want justice’, the agitators narrated their demands to the media.
A vexed protestor allegedly said that they have been protesting from last four months here in Jammu for their re-location from the valley as they feel unsafe to work there cause of the target killings by the operating terrorists there.
“Recently the local govt passed an order in which they told us to resume our duties again in the valley and those of us who fail to obey this order they will be subjected to strict action without any notice, but I want to tell the govt that from last fifteen years we have been doing our duty there and during that time the local majority community also cooperated with us. Now we can’t work there without any security as recently we lost our sister Rajni Bala in the terrorist attack there, she was trying hard for her transfer to Jammu but that didn’t happen”, he said.
“We request to Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha sir, Honorable Home minister Amit Shah and Govt of India to hear our demands and solve them” he further said.
