South African off-spinner Keshav Maharaj visited the famous Sri Padmanabha Swamy Temple in Trivandrum. As with the norm in the temple, Maharaj also donned traditional attire and wished everyone a Happy Navratri. The South African player, whose roots are Indian took blessings from the Lord before the Proteas begin the three-match T20 series against India on Wednesday (September 28).Â

The Temba Bavuma-led side reached India on Monday. While Maharaj visited the temple, the rest of the South African players relaxed in the pool. They are scheduled to have a practice session today at 5:00 PM
