Kathua, September, 22: As a part of operation Sadbhavna, the Army donated six computers for the students of Govt Model Higher Secondary School, Hiranagar, Kathua on Sunday.
The Army under the spirit of ‘Sadbhavana’ gifted computers to the school children.

The excitement and joy witnessed among the children was shared by the teachers who expressed their thanks to the Army, for making teaching so much easier and interesting for the students.
A student said, “We are thankful to Indian army who donated the computers to us, we lack computer facility here. They also interacted with us”.
Another student told the media they felt elated and happy that the army came here and gifted them computers. He further said that the Indian army has advised them to save themselves from drug abuse and to also be away from those people who are indulged in such activities.
“It’s good that we have extra personal computers now in our school, which will now assist us in our studies, I would like to extend my gratitude to our army for this gift”, a female student said.
Vocational Trainer of the school Pooja Gupta said that inclusion of six more computers in the school’s computer lab will help the students more efficiently.
“If students learn how to use computer along side studying its theory, this will be then more fruitful for them”, she said.
Principal of the school said that they already have ten computers in their IT lab and addition of six more gifted by the army will really help students as there is really a demand of computer professionals in the IT industries these days.
