Jammu, 20 September, 2022: A tragedy overshowed the University of Jammu when three of its female died in a terrible road accident at Ramban today, when they were coming for Jammu.
As per the report, three students has lost their life in this untoward tragedy, one from Jammu’s Channi Himmat area and two from Ladakh.

The deceased were identified as Esetan Dolma, daughter of Tashi Andus and Rigzen Lamu, daughter of Morup Dorjay, both residents of Ladakh and Harman Anand, daughter of Harpinder Anand of Channi Himmat District Jammu.
Later, after legal formalities the bodies of the two female students from Ladakh were returned to their parents who came to receive them in the university today.
The university professors along with them all the students of JU today observed silence condoling the death of their three fellow classmates inside the university premises.
“These three were our national champions along with that they were very talented students, we have lost three gems today”, a faculty member remarked.
A case under relevant sections has been registered at Police Station Batote and the police has started investigation in this case.
