The Samba police on Tuesday has recovered the minor girl who had been missing more than a week from her school in Logate, Kathua.
Initially her parents lodged a missing report in this regard in Ramnagar Police station recently on 13th of this month, when they failed to trace her whereabouts.

Today after following certain leads, the local police found the girl in Kathua.
As per the report, when the police found the girl she told them that some suspicious men came in a white van outside her school and forcefully pushed her inside it. After that they made her unconscious and took her to Kathua.
She further informed the police officials that when she gained back her conscious she called the police there with the help of local residents.
After fulfilling all the legal formalities, the girl was handed over to her family, today.
The Vijaypur cops are still scrutinizing the CCTV footages which comes in the jurisdiction of Kathua to uncover the identities of the persons involved in this abduction.
According to the report, Vijaypur SDPO Priyanka Kumari and SHO are the ones who headed this search operation and finally became successful in tracing the missing girl.
