Kathua, 18 Sept: Shiv Sena Dogra Front on Sunday addressed a press conference here in Jammu in which they invited the local people to join them on the Chari Yatra to Vaishno Devi shrine which is going to begin from 26th of this month.
Addressing the press conference Narendra Tangri district president (SSDF) said that they will begin the Chari Yatra (stick pilgrimage) from first fast (Navratra) of this month and then they will all gather along with local devotees at the ‘Asha Purani Mandir’, Kathua from where they will begin their pilgrimage to the holy Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine, Reasi.
“We will form cliques of devotees to visit the Vaishno devi Shrine in Jammu, he said.
He further said that some people are collecting donation for the Yatra from the local people in their organisation’s name of which they have been informed and they will register FIR’s whosoever is involved in all this fraud.
“Till now the Shiv Sena dogra front has organised thirty seven Chari Yatra’s and not even for once we have asked anyone to collect money for it, but there are some people who are collecting funds for the pilgrimage using our name. I appeal to the locals please don’t give your money to such persons and inform local police if they come to you”, he added.
He further informed the media that the local people here use to go the Yatra on their own expenses.
“We invite everyone to come and join us in this Holy pilgrimage to Vaishno devi shrine and we promise that we will take everyone safely there “, he said.
