A delegation of BJP leaders today met Lt Governor Manoj Sinha at Raj Bhawan in Jammu and later claimed that the LG has agreed to announce holiday on the birth anniversary of Maharaja Hari Singh on September 23.
Former Deputy Chief Minister Nirmal Singh said that the LG of J&K has agreed to issue a notification announcing birth anniversary of Maharaja Hari Singh as holiday.
Yuva Rajput Sabha has been demanding a holiday on the birth anniversary of Maharaja Hari Singh for past long time due to which protest demonstrations were also going on in Jammu.
