Jammu, 14 Sept: A vehicle theft case has appeared in which the burglars stole a scooty from Nanak Nagar area of Jammu.
The scooty was stolen by the burglars from outside a house situated at sector seven of Nanak Nagar (Trikuta Nagar), Jammu where it was parked by its owner, according to the report.

Scooty owner allegedly said that he went thrice to the local police station where he has registered an FIR and also submitted CCTV footage of the incident, but the inspector there avoided his requests.
“It has been ten days since our vehicle was stolen by the thieves and nothing has been done by the local police so far. From past three day my sons have been visiting the Trikuta nagar police station where we registered the FIR regarding this theft, but we don’t know why the local police is still not responding to our matter,” mother of the scooty owner allegedly said.
Wife of the scooty owner allegedly said that ten days ago their scooty bearing registration number ‘JK02BUU9519’ was stolen from the street outside their house where they parked it and astonishingly the burglars disappeared with it in just few minutes.
She further said that they also informed the SHO Trikuta Nagar about the burglary when they went to the police station but he paid no heed to their pleas.
“We parked our vehicle outside our house cause we don’t have enough space here. When rain comes our house and this place gets waterlogged which forces us to park the vehicle here and because of which we lost our vehicle. I want to know where these robbers are coming here in Jammu”, she added.
She further added that no one came to their house from the police department to conduct a probe in connection of this case.
“We demand some action from the local police cause they are doing nothing”, she said.
