Jammu, 13 September, 22: Today, Nasha Mukth Bharat Abhiyan awareness program was organised at convent school Arnia, in collaboration with Revenue, Rural Development department in presence of SHO Arnia  Inspector Sumeet Sharma, Tehsildar Punika and BDO Rajni Bala, who all graced the event with their presence.

During the lecture students of the school were sensitized about various aspects of drug abuse, and their effects on health and society and the measures taken by the government of India. They also motivated the local people to focus on the education and divert your energy by participating in sports activities etcetera.

Later, after the lecture of the esteem guests the students of the school conducted a rally in which the guests also participated along with them.

Holding banners and placards in their hands the students marched through  the market of Arnia and sensitized the local residents about the menace of drug abuse. Later after the event culminated the students, school staff and the dignitaries  took pledge against the drug abuse.
