Jammu, 13 September, 2022: The Central Bureau of Investigation on Tuesday raided the house of Former chairperson of JKPSI in Gandhi Nagar, Jammu in connection with his involvement regarding the recent J&K Police Sub-Inspectors (JKPSI) scam case.
Earlier a top official has confirmed to the media that the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) raids are being held at 33 locations across the country in connection with irregularities in the exams for Jammu and Kashmir Police Sub-Inspectors (JKPSI).

The exams were conducted in march this year, but when the aspirants themselves found irregularities in the exam they demonstrated major protests across J&K demanding CBI probe in it.
After which recently, the Lieutenant Governor’s administration cancelled the SI recruitment examination conducted for 1,200 posts of Jammu and Kashmir Police.
It has been said that the administration will conduct fresh recruitment exams.
