Jammu, 12 September, 2022:  The Freedom Rider Biker Rally on Monday felicitated by the local govt at the Lakhanpur Border, Kathua when it reached in Jammu from Delhi.

Earlier to commemorate the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, Union Home Minister Amit Shah flagged off 18,000 km long ‘Freedom Rider Biker Rallies’ from Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium in Delhi last week.

“It is a Fit India Freedom Moto Ride in which 75 bikers will explore 75 iconic locations, while riding a distance of more than 18,000 kilometres. They will also visit six International borders. The rally  was organised by the Union govt to commemorate the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav. The bike rally will culminate back at the Delhi and after that all over India  75 iconic locations  will be selected where the ’75th Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ will be celebrated, a rider said.

He further informed that they are conducting this rally to aware the youngsters of the country about the benefits of being fit and healthy.

“More and more youngsters should join the armed forces, their life is very hard we should take inspiration from them and we are feeling proud that we are getting a chance of meeting and staying with our security forces for some days”, he added.

He further added through the medium of this rally they are trying to promote fitness, culture and tourism.
