Jammu, 8 Sept: PHE daily wagers in Jammu under the aegis of PHE United Front Samba took out a protest march in Samba on Thursday demanding immediate regularization of their employees and pending salary from several months.
“From 70 days we are for our demands but the local LG administration is not paying heed to our demands at all. We struggling everyday to provide meals to our families and we are protesting with these plates so that the local regime can understand our plight that we don’t have food to eat. We know that the govt has implemented Section 144 here, that’s we are demonstrating a peaceful protest here. We are peacefully following the guidelines of the local police regarding the protest. We are not militants, we are only demanding our rights and why the govt is not agreeing to our demands. a protestors said.

“Our foremost demand is regularization and release of our pending salaries”, he said.
Another protestors said that they have entered the 80th day of their agitation here and everyday after protest when they use to return to their homes their children use to ask them, does the protests made any impression on the govt?.
“we want the govt to regularise us all and release our salaries as soon as possible”, he said.
