Jammu, 5 Sept: Jammu Municipal Corporation flying squad on Monday conducted a anti-encroachment drive against the road side vendors at Indra Chowk, Jammu.
As per the report, during the drive the JMC officers along with the JMC flying squad members took action against the shopkeepers and street vendors by seizing and removing goods displayed by them by the road side at Indra chowk market in Jammu.

” They just seized my goods worth rupees 10,000 and I know they are not going to return me. First they issue us license then they come and snatch our goods from us, where we should we go then?, a vendor asked.
The drive was conducted to free the occupy road side spaces by the vendors.
