Jammu, 5 Sept, 2022: A new world class terminal of 25 acres is going to be constructed which is said to provide all the transporting facilities to Vaishno Devi Pilgrims at one place. The report has revealed that the project is going to be a big relief for the devotees who use to book autos, taxis, helicopter for going on the Vaishno Mata pilgrimage.
SDM Katra Angrej Singh, while talking to the media said that a new bus stand terminal is going to be built here in Katra, Reasi for the devotees who will visit here and the Central govt is going to provide such world class facility.

“Many times the devotees use to complain about the poor management of transport facilities here like the congested pathways and inaccessibility of all the facilities at one place and thus keeping in view all the predicaments that the yatris face we made this agreement with the National Highway authority to build this mega project here” he said.
He further said that an MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) was also signed with National High authority logistic unit regarding the mega project in presence of Honourable LG Manoj Sinha, Principal secretary Housing & Urban development earlier.
“That time we presented 3-4 models of this mega project to the National highway authority team but LG and the Union Minister, who was present with us told the team members that to improve these models and truncate them in world ones ,so that a top class infrastructure can be built from this”, SDM Katra added.
He further added that the inter-model station will soon be constructed here and regarding the same they signed the MoU and joined hands with central govt.
“Soon here in Katra we will see the express way and all this privileges will be integrated at one place for the comfort of the yatris and for that about 25acres of land in Katra has been sanctioned” he said.
