Jammu, 22 August: A suicide case has appeared in which a young man committed suicide in a library situated in Jammu’s Bahu-fort area.
The young man has been identified as Manpreet who is a resident of tehsil Chassana, Reasi.
According to the report, Manpreet use to study in a public library in Jammu, yesterday his brother dropped him to his library following the daily routine, but today’s morning his family received the ominous news of his suicide.

His cousin brother said that the deceased joined the local library to prepare for the examinations but little they know what is going on in his mind.
He further said that he received a call this morning from the library’s owner that his brother has locked the room from inside and is not opening it even after several requests.
“On reaching there I informed the local police who helped us in the further proceedings. He came here to receive coaching for the exams and there was no pressure on him from the family side but we don’t know why he committed suicide, we also recovered a suicide note from his room” , deceased’s cousin brother said.
