Jammu, 22 August: Another fatal road accident has occurred close to railway station Trikuta nagar, Jammu in which a speeding car bearing registration no’ HR51AU9707 rammed four persons who were sitting on the stairs of an auto-stand situated in Trikuta nagar.
The report has brought to the fore that the speeding car driver took a wrong turn near the railway station losing his control he crushed the vehicle over the people who were sitting in the passenger’s waiting shed.

While the fiery road tragedy has claimed the lives of two children, simultaneously a pregnant lady and two man also sustained fatal injuries who are present on the scene and who later are rushed to the nearest hospital by the local residents.
“He came from the wrong side of the road and hit the sitting passengers here. I want to know what was the traffic police doing that time why didn’t they stop him from taking the wrong turn, because if we drive our vehicle on wrong sides of the road then the traffic police stops us just right at that time to issue challans”, Bhupinder Singh local resident eye-witness of the accident allegedly said.
Another local said that the car hit the girl child first and the collision spilled her brain on the road and then it crushed the remaining others.
“We will decide what should be done with the accused and the police should hand over that person to us, why the police is covering him, is he not a commoner? Even his car’s registration number is fake”, another local said.
