Kathua, 16 August: Dramatic visuals are coming from the Ujj river Kathua where a helicopter was deployed to rescue two people who got stuck in the heavy flow of the river due to flash floods.
Information was sent by the locals about these two persons who got stuck in the river and later a rescue operation was launched by the local police with the help of Indian army and SDRF who arrived immediately on the scene of incident and deployed a helicopter to bring out the victims safely from the river.

Speaking on the scene of incident a police personnel said that these days people should avoid going near the river bodies because there is heavy downpour reported in Jammu due to which riverine bodies are receiving flash floods and it is a very irresponsible thing to put ones life in danger.
“We are pleasant that the Indian army immediately responded to our call for help and thus launched a rescue operation here in this river to save the two victims while none of them has sustained injuries in this incident”, the police official said.
