Today , marking the 75th year of India’s Independence the Independence day was celebrated at Srinagar in which Lt Governor Manoj Sinha graced the event which was held in the parade ground.
Speaking at the occasion Lt Manoj Sinha said that three years back PM Modi lit a lamp of modern economic & social development in J&K and since that day the J&K administration achieved notable achievements. Despite various challenges, we completed 50,726 projects in last financial year with a five-time speed.
He further said in the new Jammu and Kashmir, the ground of the 21st century for realising the dreams and hopes of the youth is being prepared.
‘’The administration has decided that 5th August will be celebrated as Freedom from Corruption day every year in J&K and continuous drives against corruption will be done throughout the year’’, he added.
